DH and I have been talking about and shopping for a new entertainment center for several years now. It's just one of those expensive purchases that you don't you really want to spend the money on until you find the right piece, for the right price. We finally found an entertainment center that fit our needs and our budget this weekend and I'm so excited to have it delivered on Wednesday!
I love this piece of furniture! It has dark wood like the rest of our furniture, a slight tropical look to it which is great for our decor here in FL, lots of storage where DD can't get to the DVDs and hide them all over the house, and no sharp corners for DD to bang her little head on (problem with our old TV stand). Now, I'm just thinking about how to accessorize!

ReplyDeleteCurrently our flat screen sits on top of an antique dresser in the family room. The tv is fine (it looks fantastic where it is), but it's everything else. An entertainment center would be great-I just can't stand looking at the DVR, DVD player, Wii and games!

Wow, very beautiful piece. The cabinet doors are charming, and there's that touch of old-fashioned or rustic elegance. Solid wood tv stands are perfect with other wooden furniture.
