I use the Clairol Frost &...I always color mine. I use the Clairol Frost & Tip that you pull through the cap. I've never had a bad time with it, and it's around $10 a box at Wal-Mart and Target. I...I've colored my own hair for about 7 years now. I buy my color at Sallys- not the boxed kind at Target. It's about $10 for the color and the bottle of developer. There are a ton of different brands, I use Loreal. If you ask someone in the store they'll show you which bottles of what you need. I'm a platinum blonde, which I think is one of the hardest colors to get right...so if I can do, it anyone can do their own hair!
